| Obiettivi formativi | attivare le competenze linguistiche necessarie per comunicare in contesti quotidiani e lavorativi e per la comprensione di articoli scientifici di ambito psicologico mediante l'utilizzo di materiali didattici selezionati e graduati con riferimento al livello B1 del CEFR (Quadro Comune di Riferimento Europeo) per l'apprendimento di una lingua straniera |

| Metodi di valutazione | L'acquisizione dei crediti formativi (8CFU) avviene mediante l’accertamento della padronanza delle abilità linguistiche in un contesto di comunicazione reale e specialistico relativamente al lessico sia in ambito generalista che specialistico e alla grammatica; nello specifico e a partire dalla lettura, comprensione e traduzione di brani di settore, tratti dal libro di testo "English for the Sciences of the Mind and the Brain", Apogeo Education, 2015 (indicazioni dettagliate verranno fornite al corso) e mediante quesiti a scelta multipla si procederà all'accertamento delle competenze grammaticali previste a livello B1, con riferimento in particolare ai seguenti tempi verbali e strutture grammaticali:
present simple/present continuous;
simple past/present perfect; simple
future forms;
modals
conditionals (1st and 2nd)
; passive (present and past;
reported speech. |

| Programma del corso | Il corso, della durata di 56 ore, mira ad attivare le competenze linguistiche necessarie per comunicare in contesti quotidiani e lavorativi e per la comprensione di articoli scientifici di ambito psicologico mediante l'utilizzo di materiali didattici selezionati e graduati con riferimento al livello B1 del CEFR (Quadro Comune di Riferimento Europeo) per l'apprendimento di una lingua straniera e di strategie didattico-metodologiche di tipo blended con lezioni frontali e momenti di auto apprendimento guidato con esercitazioni linguistico- comunicative autonome su siti web indicati dalla docente.

| Evaluation methods | Course credits (8CFU) are obtained through the assessment of communicative language skills in real and specialistic situations as regards vocabulary both in general and specialistic domain and grammar; more specifically the oral conversation will be based on the reading and comprehension of passages from the textbook: "English for the Sciences of the Mind and the Brain", Apogeo Education, 2015 (specific details will be given during the classes) and on multiple choice questions to test grammar structures and verb tenses required at B1 level:
