Il laboratorio permetterà di acquisire conoscenze teoriche e metodologiche sulle procedure di valutazione delle strategie di regolazione emotiva in adulti con tratti dell’ADHD. A tale scopo, saranno illustrati agli studenti il contesto teorico e gli aspetti metodologici della misurazione delle caratteristiche in esame. In particolare, sarà posta attenzione all’utilizzo di software per la costruzione di protocolli di studio somministrabili online.

- Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione.
Lo studente, alla fine del laboratorio, deve aver acquisito conoscenza sui metodi di valutazione delle strategie di regolazione emotiva in adulti con tratti dell’ADHD.

- Conoscenza e capacità di comprensione applicate.
Le conoscenze acquisite dovranno consentire allo studente di acquisire familiarità con gli strumenti di valutazione self-report delle strategie di regolazione emotiva e dei tratti dell’ADHD.

- Autonomia di giudizio.
Lo studente dovrà acquisire le capacità di valutare criticamente i principali punti di forza e debolezza degli strumenti di valutazione.

- Abilità comunicative.
Lo studente dovrà mostrarsi capace di padroneggiare la terminologia tecnica della disciplina, in modo da poter comunicare efficacemente le conoscenze apprese durante il laboratorio.

- Capacità di apprendere.
Lo studente dovrà acquisire la capacità di valutare le strategie di regolazione emotiva in adulti con tratti dell’ADHD.

Conoscenze di base dei modelli cognitivi dell’ADHD e della regolazione emotiva.

Il laboratorio ha una durata complessiva di 24 ore (3 CFU) suddivise in 6 lezioni da 4 ore. Per ogni lezione, sono previste 3 ore di didattica frontale e 1 ora di attività individuali e di gruppo. Attraverso le lezioni frontali, le attività individuali in laboratorio e in piccoli gruppi, gli studenti potranno acquisire familiarità con alcuni dei principali strumenti per la misurazione delle caratteristiche psicologiche rilevanti al tema del laboratorio.
Le lezioni frontali punteranno a fornire informazioni teoriche sull’ADHD e la regolaziona emotiva, nonché sulla base teorica degli strumenti di misura illustrati.
Le attività individuali consentiranno agli studenti di osservare e partecipare all’applicazione di tali strumenti di misura.
Le attività di gruppo consentiranno agli student di partecipare alla costruzione di uno studio sul tema della regolazione emotiva in adulti con tratti dell’ADHD.

Per conseguire l’idoneità, lo studente dovrà partecipare alle lezioni frontali (è consentita una sola assenza alle lezioni), all’attività individuali e di gruppo.
L’idoneità sarà conseguita, al termine del laboratorio, a seguito di una presentazione sull’attività svolta in gruppo. In particolare, gli studenti dovranno presentare un progetto di ricerca sulle strategie di regolazione emotiva in adulti con ADHD studio che includa, come Metodi, l’utilizzo degli strumenti di misura che sono stati presi in esame durante il laboratorio. Saranno valutate positivamente le presentazioni qualora il progetto risulti descritto in maniera accurata e complete.

La frequenza alle lezioni frontali è obbligatoria.

The laboratory will allow to acquire theoretical and methodological knowledge on assessment procedures of emotion regulation strategies in adults with ADHD traits. To this scope, the theoretical background and the methodological aspects relating to formalized assessment of the psychological characteristics under scrutiny. In particular, specific attention will be paid to the use of software for building protocols to be administered online.

- Knowledge and understanding.
The student, at the end of the laboratory, must have acquired knowledge about methods of assessment of emotion regulation strategies in adults with ADHD traits.

- Applied knowledge and understanding.
Acquired knowledge will have to allow the student to become familiar with self-report measures of emotion regulation strategies and of ADHD traits.

- Autonomy of judgement.
The student will have to learn the capacities to evaluate critically the main strengths and weaknesses of the assessment tools.

- Communication skills.
The student will have to show himself capable of mastering the technical terminology of the discipline in order to communicate effectively the acquired knowledge as well as to effectively communicate own reflections about the topics covered during the laboratory.

- Ability to learn.
The student will have to acquire the capacity to assess emotion regulation strategies in adults with ADHD traits.

Basic knowledge of the cognitive models of ADHD and of emotion regulation.

The laboratory has a total duration of 24 hours (3 CFU) divided into 6 lessons of 4 hours. For each lesson, 3 hours will be devoted to frontal teaching and 1 hour to group activities. Through frontal lessons, individual activities to be performed in the laboratory and in small groups, students will acquire familiarity with some of the main tools for assessment of the psychological characteristics that are relevant to the main topic of the laboratory.
The frontal lessons will aim to provide theoretical information about ADHD and emotion regulation, as well as about the theoretical bases of the considered assessment measures.
The individual activities will allow students to observe and take part to the application of the considered assessment measures.
The group activities will allow students to take part at the development of a research study on emotion regulation in adults with ADHD traits.

In order to obtain the validation, students must attend lectures (only one absence is allowed), individual and group activities.
The validation will be awarded, at the end of the laboratory, following a presentation on the group activity. In detail, students have to present a research project on emotion regulation strategies in persons with ADHD traits which should include, as Methods, the assessment measures described during the laboratory. Presentations will be evaluated positively if the project is described accurately and completely.

Attendance at lectures is mandatory.
